I'm the social media editor for the Politics section of The Huffington Post.
Check out some of my work here. You can even become a fan of me, oh boy!
I worked for the Durham branch of The Independent Weekly, an alternative weekly magazine in the Triangle area. As a food intern, I contributed a few short pieces to the food blog and magazine, but spent most of my time gearing up for EATS, the annual food guide released in late spring. Durham is a fabulous place for food lovers and I'd be happy to tell you everything you need to know about the scene if you're ever in the area. Here are my pieces featured in EATS:
Sage: Chapel Hill's Meatless Mecca
Some Like It Cold (an ode to cold brew coffee)
At Jahan: A Taste of the Middle East
Stuff It: Chiles Rellenos
I blogged for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, reflecting on my experiences as a student there. I'm hoping this link doesn't fade into the Interwebs, as I'm "old news" now.
I also did a bit of writing for Recess, the arts & culture section of Duke's independent daily. I reviewed a fantastic movie and featured Duke's production of my favorite musical, and met some pretty wonderful people.
I recently started up a blog to document my foodscapades. You can check it out here.
