Cranberry Sauce

What you've gotta have:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 12-oz. bag fresh cranberries
1 cup chopped apple
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup Triple Sec
3 tablespoons orange juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

What you've gotta do:
Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the cranberries and return to a boil, then lower the heat so the liquid remains at a simmer. Add the remaining ingredients, and cook until the mixture thickens to your liking (it was about 15 minutes for me). You can mash the cranberries a bit to quicken the thickening. Remove from heat, allow it to cool, and serve alongside your favorite holiday dishes!
